The PoE model of the VTAP100 PRO takes both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, which makes it the cleanest option for permanent installations: door entry points, turnstiles, reception desks and fixed terminals. One cable run per reader, powered from your existing PoE switch, with no local power supply to fail.

Like every VTAP 100 PRO, taps are handled server-side rather than on the attached till — Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are validated centrally, so access rules and loyalty logic stay consistent across an entire building or chain. Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap certified.
