Case studies

Loyalty program case studies from real Wally clients.

Six businesses, six physical cards retired. Stamp cards, membership, stored value, door access and event tickets, all moved into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet by clients in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with the passes they actually issue and the results they reported.

Patterns

What the six programmes have in common.

Pattern 01

Nothing to download

Every programme lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, which are already on the phone. That is why adoption reached 92% to 98% where clients measured it.

Pattern 02

Tap, not scan

Every client uses NFC readers at the counter or the door. A tap is faster than a QR scan and the same gesture as paying.

Pattern 03

Ask for nothing at sign-up

No forms, no phone numbers at the counter. Data is collected from behaviour: visits, stamps, entries and redemptions.

Pattern 04

A direct channel

Push notifications reach every pass holder on the lock screen, and event passes surface themselves on the day.

FAQ

About these case studies.

Each figure is reported by the client after launch and compared with their previous programme, usually a paper punch card or a physical access card. We publish the client's numbers, not projections. Where a client has not shared figures yet, the study describes how the programme works instead.

All of them replaced a physical card, badge or ticket with a pass in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, use NFC tap at the counter or door, ask customers for nothing at sign-up, and give the business real-time data it never had before.

Stamp card and membership programmes like Kanafani's, The KAF's and Ammar's Cafe's go live within days: pass design, an NFC reader at the counter or door and a QR code to join. API integrations like AppyBee's depend on the client's platform, but the pass and reader side is the same.

Yes. Once your programme has a few months of data we can write it up together, with your artwork and your numbers. Ask your account manager or contact sales.
