How The Galleria runs three salon loyalty cards on one wallet pass.

The Galleria Hair Beauty Lounge, the luxury salon at Avani+ Palm View in Dubai Media City, launched a Wally Stampcard in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with a separate stamp row for hair treatments, blow dry and nails. Ten stamps on any row saves a reward on the card.

One pass, three programmes
Hair, blow dry and nails each fill their own row, so a weekly blow-dry client and a two-monthly colour client both earn at a fair pace.
No paper, no app
The card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet next to the client's boarding passes and bank cards.
A direct channel
Every stamp triggers a notification, and the lounge can reach card holders on the lock screen for free.

Overview

The Galleria and Wally, in brief.

The Galleria Hair Beauty Lounge sits inside Avani+ Palm View Hotel & Suites in Dubai Media City. It describes itself as a sanctuary of elegance and sophistication, offering colour, cuts and styling, hair extensions, makeup and nail treatments with brands including Schwarzkopf, L'Oréal, Wella and Alterna.

Salon clients are loyal by nature, but not on the same rhythm. One client comes in every week for a blow-dry; another books a colour treatment every two months; a third only visits for nails. A single stamp card makes those clients race toward the same reward at very different speeds.

So The Galleria launched a Wally Stampcard with three stamp rows on one pass: Hair Treatments, Blow Dry and Nail Treatment. Each row has its own icon and its own reward, the top of the pass shows progress at a glance (N 3/10 · B 3/10 · H 4/10), and ten stamps on any row saves the reward on the card. Staff add stamps by scanning the QR code on the pass at reception.

The challenge

What was holding The Galleria back.

Before
One stamp card for every service rewards frequent, low-ticket visits and ignores the colour client who comes every eight weeks.
With Wally
Three rows on one pass. Each service fills its own card at its own pace, with a reward matched to that service.
Before
Paper cards get left at home, and a luxury lounge doesn't want a plastic card or an app download at reception.
With Wally
The card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, designed in The Galleria's own black-and-white look with the TG monogram as the stamp.
Before
No free way to tell a regular that a reward is close or a new treatment is available.
With Wally
Every stamp sends a notification, and the lounge can push updates to every card holder's lock screen without paid SMS.
The solution

How the Wally Stampcard works for The Galleria.

The Galleria Hair Beauty Lounge digital stamp card in Apple Wallet with three stamp rows for hair treatments, blow dry and nail treatments, and a QR code
1
Brand header and countersThe Galleria wordmark and TG monogram, with N, B and H progress counters (for example 3/10, 3/10, 4/10) in the top corner.
2
Three stamp rowsHair treatments, blow dry and nails, each with its own icon, ten TG-monogram stamps and a gift slot at the end.
3
Member and reward fieldsThe client's name plus separate Hair, Blow and Nail Rewards counters, so earned rewards are always visible.
4
QR codeScanned by the team at reception to add a stamp or redeem a reward.
01

Add the card at reception

The client adds The Galleria card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in seconds. No app, no sign-up form.

02

Scan to collect

After the appointment, the client opens the card and the team scans the QR code. The stamp lands on the right row: hair, blow dry or nails.

03

Watch it update

Every stamp arrives with a notification, and the counters at the top of the pass show progress on all three rows.

04

Fill a row, keep the reward

Ten stamps completes a row and saves the reward on the card, ready to redeem on any visit. The row starts again, with no limit on rewards.

At launch

The programme, in three numbers.

The Galleria has just launched, so these describe how the programme is set up. We will add client-reported results once there is enough data.

3
Stamp cards on one pass

Hair Treatments, Blow Dry and Nail Treatment each have their own row, icon and reward.

10

Filling any row saves that reward on the card, shown under Hair, Blow or Nail Rewards. No cap on how many rewards a client can earn.

0

Insights

Why it's set up this way.

Decision 01

Split the card by service, not by spend

Hair treatments, blow dry and nails run on different rhythms. Separate rows keep every client within reach of a reward, whatever they book.

Decision 02

Ten stamps, three times over

A single number across all three rows keeps the programme easy to explain at reception, while the service-specific rewards keep it generous.

Decision 03

Save rewards on the card

A completed row doesn't force an immediate redemption. The reward waits on the card, so clients can use it on the visit that suits them.

Decision 04

A pass that matches the lounge

Black and white with the TG monogram as the stamp: the card looks like The Galleria, not like a generic loyalty app.

Playbook

How to replicate this in your business.

Five decisions from the The Galleria programme that transfer to any hair & beauty salon operator.

  1. 1

If your services run on different rhythms, give each one its own stamp row instead of one shared card.

  2. 2

Keep the stamp count the same across rows so the programme is easy to explain in one sentence.

  3. 3

Save rewards on the card rather than forcing redemption at the moment the row fills.

  4. 4

Send a notification with every stamp; it's the cheapest reminder that the programme exists.

  5. 5

Design the pass in your own brand language, so it feels like part of the salon experience.
